Understand that the letter was submitted to the Chronicle Telegram without providing me a chance to review or revise it. Only after it was submitted was I asked to give my approval. I was not willing to do so because I do not agree that Council has done a good enough job of managing the City's money. There are changes that need to be made and shifting of priorities so that we are responsible to our residents. Had there been a commitment by Council to listen more to the residents and try harder to respond to their needs, I would have gladly signed the letter.Mark F.
