Hi Mark - Could you post an update to this meeting? When will the road be paved again? Are they still working because all that is left is the dirt and rocks - no workers in sight anymore.

The project is to be completed by the end of April 2018. Sewer installation should be completed by the end of this year. Due to weather, restoration of the project limits will take place in the Spring. Permanent restoration on Gulf Road will also take place in the Spring. The contractor will continue to use Gulf Road as a haul route to and from the treatment plant. The contractor is digging at the plant now, so when they’re done with that run, they’ll jump over to Whitman. This should be in July (and we should have a better timeframe once we start digging in straight grass this week. We also have First Energy to contend with as far as their schedule.

The cap on the Gulf Rd trench does not have a date yet, but will be done before fall.

Phase 1B South (Whitman to Abbe) is scheduled to be bid out before the end of this year and can begin as soon as the stub from the last manhole on Whitman is placed.

Phase 1C is scheduled to have plans completed in June 2018.

Kathy McKillips from our city Engineer's office is working on a Q&A from the meeting and will send out when completed.
