We will be discussing the road resurfacing projects at the upcoming Utilities Committee meeting tomorrow at 6 p.m. If you are interested, please attend. Last night at the Council meeting, the Finance Director announced that we will have around $358,000 for street resurfacing projects. $100K will come from the urban paving program; $158K from the 2nd and 3rd street project funding that will be deferred for a year; another $100K will come from the SR 57 bond fund payments, which will instead be made out of the bond retirement fund this year.
Looking at Gulf Road repairs, this road qualifies for funding through NOACA and will not necessarily come from the funds available for resurfacing this year.
We will not have a list of streets ranked by the Engineering department until the meeting. I will share afterwards.
