Spring Valley Conditional Use Application--September 2 City Council meeting, public hearing 7:00 p.m.

City Council will have a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. at its regular Council meeting on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 (Tuesday due to Labor Day). Any interested persons are interested to attend and speak for or against (proponents or opponents) the approval of a Conditional Use Application allowing Spring Valley to build cluster homes on the property. Approval of this application will not allow construction to commence. Before construction can begin, there are several preliminary and final design submissions that must be approved by the City.

Spring Valley public meeting August 25 at 6:00 p.m. before Council Community Development Committee

Spring Valley's Conditional Use application will be discussed at Council's Community Development Committee this evening at 6 p.m.

August 19, 2008 at 11 a.m.--Spring Valley back to the Planning Commission

The Planning Commission will meet again on August 19, 2008 at 11 a.m. to consider the application for a conditional use permit to allow cluster home construction at Spring Valley. If you have concerns or questions, please attend this meeting to voice them to the Planning Commission.

As mentioned previously, I will be unable to attend. I asked the Mayor to reschedule the meeting and to make it for a time in the evening but he declined to do so. If you are not able to attend this Planning Commission meeting, there will be other opportunities in the evening to participate in this process and voice your concerns, such as the Community Development Committee and at the full Council meeting when these are discussed. I will post those dates and times when they become available.
