City Council will have a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. at its regular Council meeting on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 (Tuesday due to Labor Day). Any interested persons are interested to attend and speak for or against (proponents or opponents) the approval of a Conditional Use Application allowing Spring Valley to build cluster homes on the property. For the list of conditions imposed on this Application, see the Documents section on this page.
Approval of this application will not allow construction to commence. Before construction can begin, there are several preliminary and final design submissions that must be approved by the City.

Last night at the full Council meeting, the ordinance granting Spring Valley's conditional use application was given its first reading. There were no residents who came to address Council and speak on this topic, for or against. The next reading will be at 7:00 p.m. on September 15 in Council Chambers, City Hall.
Last night, September 15, was the second reading for this ordinance. After the third reading, it will be voted on by Council and will most likely pass. That will take place at the next meeting, October 6 in Council Chambers, City Hall.
